What is the Perfect Proverbs 31 Woman to Me?

I was just asked by a dear friend, "I have heard many interpretations of this... what do you think she (the Proverbs 31 woman) should or should not do - or be like? What is the perfect p31 woman to you?"

This was my response, but I am studying her so as I learn more about her my opinion may change a little.

"Well, that's a good question. I actually am doing a Bible study on just that. But to me, the Prov. 31 woman is a Strong Godly Woman, who loves GOD most, and her husband and children more than life itself! She is someone who thinks only of others and never of self. She enjoys serving and being a blessing. She does as much as she can to take the load off of her family, and allow them to lead Happy "worry" free lives. This does not mean she is slave to them though. She does everything with a cheerful heart, and even in the passage it says that, although she is a hard worker, she deligates task to "her maidens". She is more of an industrious Manager. She runs the household (she is the CEO if you will), and her husband loves her and trusts her in everything. Her children will call her blessed, not because she spoils them, but because she cares enough to correct them and love them the way God loves us. To me, she is the ultimate role model. The woman I strive to be like. But I know it cannot happen overnight, and that it is not easy. I will be striving to achieve this for the rest of my life."

Now, I don't really have time to write much more right now, but I figured this would be a good second entry. This is my goal, and this is what I would like to be held accountable in. I need to daily study and memorize the Word, and spend time in prayer. I need to do this for my relationship with God, my husband, my family, and my friends! I have a whole list of names of people I pray for, but I need to start having more detailed fervent prayers for all. It's not about Habit, it's about love. I need to learn how to pray from my heart, and not focus on how well my prayers sound, or if I pray for everyone. I have to learn how to trust God to put the people on my heart who need prayer the most. I have never been good at praying, but my goal is to become someone who is constantly in prayer. Thanking, Praising, Worshipping, Pleading, whatever it may be that I am experiencing, REMEMBERING that GOD IS IN CONTROL.
